LandingBio

A thoughtful place to begin with someone online.

LandingBio is a free personal page for introducing yourself, highlighting what matters, and helping visitors discover the different places where your work and interests live.

It gives you more room than a social profile and less complexity than a full website.

Why LandingBio

Most people have an online presence. Fewer have a place that feels genuinely their own.

Social profiles are useful, but they are shaped by the priorities of the platform: feeds, reactions, follower counts, advertising, and a continual stream of new posts.

A personal website offers more independence, but not everyone needs—or wants—to build and maintain a complete site.

LandingBio sits between those options. It offers a stable, personal page with enough room for identity, context, current work, and meaningful links.

What you can create

One page that helps visitors understand you and decide where to go next.

A LandingBio page combines a clear introduction with selected content and destinations.

01

Introduce yourself

Share a concise biography, an image, and enough context for visitors to understand who you are.

02

Highlight what matters now

Feature a project, idea, update, piece of work, or direction that deserves attention.

03

Connect the pieces

Guide visitors to your websites, portfolio, store, newsletter, profiles, communities, and other destinations.

04

Change as you change

Revise your introduction and featured content as your work, interests, and priorities evolve.

A point of departure

LandingBio is not meant to contain your entire online life.

It gives visitors enough context to understand you—and then helps them continue toward the places that matter.

Designed to lead outward

Your presence does not have to live inside one platform.

Your work, interests, relationships, and communities may be spread across many places online.

LandingBio can connect those places without asking one platform to become the permanent center of everything.

It can direct visitors to a personal website, portfolio, store, newsletter, organization, social profile, community, or any other destination you choose.

Different people, different purposes

A LandingBio page can serve many kinds of lives and work.

The structure is simple enough to remain approachable and flexible enough to support very different uses.

  • 01

    A professional introduction

  • 02

    A home for creative work

  • 03

A starting point for several projects

  • 04

A personal alternative to a social profile

  • 05

A central page for links and current work

  • 06

A simple presence for someone without a full website

A living introduction

A personal page should be able to change without pretending your past no longer exists.

People develop new interests, begin projects, leave roles, join communities, and reconsider how they want to be understood.

LandingBio lets you update what you emphasize without requiring a complete reinvention of your online identity.

It can remain selective and current: a useful introduction to the person you are now and the directions you are following.

Why I built it

I wanted to make personal presence on the web more approachable.

People should have ways to represent themselves online that are not entirely defined by social platforms, professional directories, or the demands of continual publishing.

LandingBio provides a clear structure while leaving room for personality, changing interests, professional work, creative projects, and different ways of participating in the world.

It is one experiment in giving people a little more ownership over how they introduce themselves and where they direct attention.
